This is opa Ale Groen, in front of Wouda's meelfabriek, Sneek. The factory is long since gone. Opa used a "woman's" bike in this later years, because he was very short, and could not get on a "man's" bike. I remember it took quite some persuasion to get him to relent to using this bike! Men--they don't know what is good for them.
